Perspex® S-Lux cleared for take off
Passengers now find it easier to navigate Zurich's re-designed Airside terminal, following installation of new super-slim, edge-illuminated signs, made of Perspex® S-Lux by leading Swiss sign makers Burri AG.
The signs have strong geometric lines in steel and glass, which complement the clean lines of the new interior designed by internationally renowned architectural practice Grimshaw.
"It is essential for signs in this environment to be high quality, flexible and above all easy to maintain" said Eoin Billings, associate director at Grimshaw Industrial Design responsible for managing sign design, procurement, and installation.
Grimshaw Industrial Design worked with Burri to develop this slim elegant sign system that, thanks to Burri's double-sided edge-illuminated design, and Perspex® S-Lux, are also graphically clear and easy to maintain.
