Perspex® Frost cool catwalk
Stage Designer, Simon Costin chose to use Perspex® from Lucite® for his creation of the Rafael Lopez catwalk at London Fashion Week earlier this year.
As he explains, he chose Perspex® over other materials because: ‘I needed something that had a cool, clean translucency combined with clarity of colour that would react well to being backlit. Perspex® Frost has an excellent range of colours to choose from and it’s sheet size and thickness made it the only material capable of giving the kind of slick finish that was needed to complement Rafael’s collection, which has a contemporary urban appeal.’
